The Deck must be deliberately removed. Most likely with the handle being pulled. Also counts if the knees were forcefully pushed through to open deck.
(poped decks dont count, but falling out does count)
The boat must be upside down.
Doesn't count if people are deliberatly restricting you from rolling up.
Swims from non club trips also count and no postcode rules either so no cheating.

Learning to roll doesn't count unless you have successfully rolled once before.
A technical swim is where the result is you end up swimming but either boat was upright when the deck came off or the deck comes off through no fault of your own, ie implosion.
