when are the hoodies coming?

Haha i'm gonna put a spanner in the works here and say I don't like the edited one... the original is eye catching, big and bold, clever, tells people who we are and shows off our sponsors well... the edited just overcomplicates things! looks like we've taken a good design and just pasted an uninteresting picture on it, makes it look less pro and it looses the nice simple nature of the first version!

Opinions aside... we're going to have to wait until I get the Sports Association logo sent through from Andy Crawshaw before any final designs can be done and an order sent off, I also haven't heard back from the Westgate yet with regards to my sponsorship email so we've got to wait and see with that!

Yep, I still want one. It doesn't look like they've put too much effort into incorporating a kayak into the design though really. More of just superimposing a picture of one on top of the original. What about making the T of Bath into a kayaker on a river (as viewed from above since it's more or less that shape anyway) and keeping the paddle that crosses the T as the paddle of the kayaker? That's if there's any time for a redraft... Either way, I want one. I just think it would be better if they tried a bit harder to make it fit together better.

The designs awesome!... think as much as it would be nice to have a kayak on there, if you do that then you run the risk of the hoody looking like every other universities hoody but in a different colour... lets see what FYEP can cook up for a second draught

Yes How much will it be around (if it depends on numbers could give us a rough estimate of prices with numbers i.e. 20 hoodies = £30 each, 40 hoodies = £1.50 each )

With regards to the logo it is very un-kayak looking though are they willing to redesign it? If so how long will a new design take? I love this, it's sooo true though:

I think the company is designing it for us (well probably a pre-set design), so I think all we're sending them is "The University of Bath Canoe Club", and the committee positions (and maybe the URL). Though Freya would be the one to ask!

Im keen!! Very keen for nicknames of something like that.
But i think comitee positions on them as also a really great idea, and i think in the first few week it could help the freshers. great idea!

I want one! I like the idea of having committee positions on the arms. What about having names/nicknames too? Or special achievements and whatnot eg. polo tournaments (if we ever win one...), polo teams, bucs events the person has been to (like WWR, NSR etc.), hero of the year, muppet of the year, awards given out at bucs bbq?
