Saturday 30th October (1300-2000)
Bath Canoe Club Members Singup
This tournament is a fantastic opportunity for people new to kayaking this year to try canoe polo. All players will have a similar level of skill, which will allow some competitive matches.
Information
Each team will get to play 3 games each, with the possibility of more games if they progress.
There are spaces for 12 teams, so each University is limited to one team in open & ladies to begin with.
Max 10 players on a squad, 8 players on the water per game.
If you want to enter another team, the extra team will go on a waiting list for any spare places.
If more than 12 team entries are received, the places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Closing date for entries is OCTOBER 15th 2010 .
Team Guidelines
A beginner is defined as someone who has been paddling less than one year and has not played in a previous tournament.
Only one experienced player to be on the water at any one time in the role of “Game-maker” (more than one experienced player allowed per squad). This player is unable to score goals or goal keep.
Referees
Each team will provide one referee for the game following their own.
There should be at least one experienced/confident referee per team, although this will be a good opportunity for new referees to practise.
